How to play
2 to 4 players. You have 4 mice waiting in your hole. Run them once around the kitchen, then up your own lane to the cheese in the middle. The first player with all 4 mice on the cheese wins.
A turn
- Roll the die, then move one of your mice exactly that many squares.
- A mouse leaves its hole only on a 6, onto your start square.
- A mouse must land on the cheese exactly: a roll that would take it past cannot move it.
- A 6 lets you roll again after your move, but a third 6 in a row ends your turn at once. If no mouse can use your roll, your turn passes.
Back to the hole
- A mouse that ends its move on a square holding other players' mice sends them all back to their holes.
- The start squares are safe: nobody is sent back from there. Your own mice may share a square, and in your lane nobody can reach them.
