How to play
2 players: gold fireflies and blue fireflies, on a square meadow at dusk. Four fireflies start in the middle, two of each colour. When the meadow is full, or nobody can play, the colour with more fireflies wins.
A turn
- Set one of your fireflies on an empty patch so that, in at least one straight line (across, down or diagonal), it closes a row of the other colour's fireflies with one of yours at the far end.
- Every firefly in each line you close lights up in your colour, in all directions at once.
- If you have no such patch, you pass, and the other player plays again.
