How to play

2 to 6 players. 52 cards in four flower suits (poppies, bluebells, daisies, violets) numbered 1 to 13, all dealt out. Each suit grows a row on the table, starting from its 7.

A turn

• The player holding the 7 of poppies opens with it.
• Then lay one card: a 7, which starts its row, or the card just below the lowest or just above the highest of a row (6 then 5 down to 1, 8 then 9 up to 13).
• If a card of yours fits, you must lay one; if none does, you pass.

The end

The first player out of cards wins.
