Web of Three

How to play

2 players. The web has three rings joined by four threads: 24 knots. Each colony has 9 spiders. Three spiders of one colour in a row along a side of a ring or along a thread make a line.

A turn

• First place your spiders one a turn on free knots. Once all nine are placed, move one a turn along a thread to a free neighbouring knot.
• Make a line and you catch a spider of the other colour at once: never one in a line, unless all of them are.
• With only three spiders left, yours may jump to any free knot.

The end

A colony down to two spiders, or with no move, loses. Fifty moves in a row without a catch, or the same web coming back a third time with the same player to play, is a draw.
